Mayumo Ecomuseo Site Development Plan

The problem now is the heritage and its surrounding landscape’s steady deterioration due to

ignorance and decay. People are steadily taking their heritage for granted, and the goal of this thesis

is to be able to use the landscape as an instrument which reminds and teaches the users that there is

benefit, significance, and a creative way of interpreting our heritage so that it shall always be there

as our reference points to the heroism and character of our ancestry.

This study aims to maximize of all the suitable research procedures and potential of the

landscape design to be able to effectively develop a new idea of an ecomuseum landscape: a unique

and new way of combined new museology, heritage preservation, and landscape architecture.
